Just wondering because I need the steel part that fits between the screen frame & the gas tank ( cant remember the parts name ). I know of one for a 28/29. Are they similar to 30/31 ? If the screen frame is interchangable then I could modify the part fairly easy I would have thought. Any ideas. Thanks very much. Andy.
windshield? i think they are just different heights and have different locations for the wipers we are talking closed cars correct? tk
different enough that you'll have to do some modifying, if I understand the part you're talking about...do you have a picture? On the 28/29 there's a bit of vertical sheet metal that extends down from the bottom of the windshield to the cowl/tank. On 30/31 the windshield frame sort of rests on the cowl (larger cowl than the 28/29)
Been studying some pics & your totally right. I didnt realise how different that part is between the two models. Its just I was told the Screens were the same, but didnt realise how different the lower panels were ? I do now. Cheers, Andy.
