WCK Santa Maria Travel Route

A group of us are heading out for the WCK show in Santa Maria early Friday from Arizona. We want to make the cruise at 7.
Does anyone know of any construction/ detours in the L.A. area or from L.A. to Santa Maria that would cause delays other than the usual congestion.
Any suggestions on travel shortcuts would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

Take the 10 west to the 215N, 210W, 210 NW, I-5N, 126 West, 101 N too SM.... this way you miss all the 101/405 mess in the valley

 

Totally agree with that route, that's how I go. Only hit congestion on the short run on the 5, just be careful as the chp are pretty prevalent on the 126, so keep it slower through there.

There might be some construction in the Ventura and Santa Barbara areas, also beware of the rough roads in SB area
