I have been meaning to post this for a while...I am a bit slow on the uptake.

A couple of christmas ago, I got the best gift I could imagine from my parents. I was given my dad's vintage wool car club coat and plaque.

Vintage about 1955 - The Angels - Racine, WI.

It just doesnt get much better that this one....Hope you enjoy it.

That is really cool. I have tried to find my dad's old jacket. I know it was around in the 90's but now no one can find it. It was a light cotton jacket, embroidered. Early Iron Car Club, Michigan City, IN. Not as old as yours, some where around 1974.

That's an amazing jacket. The fact that it comes from your pops is is better. I have my fair share of old jackets I've found over the years.... but my dads old one is far and away my favorite.

Jacket AND Plaque!!! Too cool. If it were my dad, I'd have no hope of wearing it! The last time I fit in his Air Force stuff I was 11.

The only neat jacket I have is this child's jacket I purchased some years back. The name on the box it came shipped in....Mark Engle.:D

OK...a bit OT but I thought you guys would appreciate.

I decided to hijack my own thread.

Check out this vintage MC jacket I just picked up. I grew up in Kenosha but dont recognize the shop.

I doesnt look like it was ever worn.

Good find! I am researching have a jacket reproduced like my father's club wore when I was a kid. Right now I am having trouble finding a good picture to use for the design. My parents are checking with some of the original members to see if anyone still has theirs. The worst part is a had the jacket, in great shape, in the 90's but I believe it got tossed when I moved!!!!
