does any one know of any good examples of 53/54's with canted quads? I know there is one brutally ugly one here in this thread but I would like to see an example of a good looking one:) I just picked up another 54 and I want to do everything to this one I was scared to do on my current one, I want to section it, but I want to run 58 lincolns too. dont know if that will really work out. I need a 55... any one want to trade a solid 54 basket case for a 55 basket case? :D ill take chevy buick olds poncho? :)

Grill is temporary to get to the show, had to throw in a wider radiator at the last minute. It was wider so I couldnt use my single bar.

I will try and get some pics posted of one I did a few ( like 10 yrs ago). Its a 53 chev conv that I chopped with a folding top and packard tailights. I used 59 chev headlights in a true canted angle with a narrowed and frenched 53 chev grille opening. Last I heard its still sitting in a shop in Washington state. Dont know for sure, but I will try and get them on here.

  14. Canted quads were popular in the Vancouver, BC area. Lots of customs sported them. Pat.

its actually alittle of both. the original was built by Gene Winfield in the early 60s. My dad started the clone about 20 years ago, got about 90% done then sold it. Just recently he got it back and we have been workin on getting it finished.

here is a picture of the original car. the story is that the original one is in kansas somewhere, but we also told that the original car burned and was crushed.

I have front fenders and trim for a 58 lincoln, no buckets

I have trim for a 57 lincoln and trim for a 62 chrysler 300, I will probably go with the 58 lincoln!
