'54 Chevy steering wheel removal.

One thing I've never done is removed a steering wheel from a old vehicle. I need to remove the wheel on my 1954 Bel Air, Dose anyone know how or can point me to detailed instructions?

You need to carefully pry up the plastic cover on the horn ring first. Then use a steering wheel puller after you get the nut off.

Yea carefully pry the plastic emblem off the center of the horn ring then theres 3 screws holdin the horn ring on take them off make sure u put everything back on exactly like it came off esp the thin horn contact ring it has a bevel in it. Then i think its a 3/4 or maybe 5/8 nut remove it then pull and genty tap steering rod with hammer if u dont have a puller lot of times they will slide right off
