I got a set of 5x5 spiders for my 54 buick but the caps won't fit over the hugh front hub. I've search all over for bullet center caps that fit. The wheel hub diameter is 3.50 in.

Anyone have any ideas on where i can find them. Or is there are any other buick guys running spiders or bullets that can help I'd appreciate it.

I'm in the same boat here too mate.
Bought some 5x5 spiders for my 55 and they don't want to go on no matter how much I swear and yell at em.

I'm thinking about doing a scarebird disc brake conversion using 71-76 buick rotors.
Just got to find out if the bullet will clear the hub on that.

I'm interested if you find another solution. Keep us posted.

    How about a bullet that is 3 3/8" dia X 5" long?
I have some this size but really need to check if they will clear the hub.
What length and diameter hub have you guy's got??

  7. This is a 54 chevy hub with push throughs from wheelkid (Ralley America) I then used bullet lugnuts from the king.

The buick hubs are large and are machined to accept the stock wheels, so a push through bullet will not fit as there is no space for the bullet between the hub and the wheel. I ran into that problem with the big push through bullets on my 63 riv.

  9. I took about a thousands off the inside of the rim for the bullet to fit on these.
