    Thanks, everybody.
Gotta say, I love that cream colored interior, but that shit is already dirty.
It is a clean clothes kind of car, I guess:D

:DWorkingmen beware!!!!:D This not a color for you.

yea my interior is cream and a redish maroon 2 tone - its a bitch to keep clean especially when mines a daily driver and I work for caterpillar and park around dirty ass yellow tractors

side note that rear 3/4 shot of the car with the view of the roof, looks like the body work came out perfect, looks great. hope to see it at round up next year

  3. I saw a nice Caddy custom at Billetproof Florida that had clear plastic seat covers. Looked good on a custom, both front and back were done. On a hot rod, not so sure.

Wow Chris, your trucking right along. I'm going to have to get off my lazy ass and catch up. Looks like I'm going to have to invest in a chisle too.
Altogether it looks really clean. (good to see you at LSR)

Chris, For a self made shoebox I think you scored a very high score. The final numbers won't be in until the upholstery is done. They are ranking some high scores ! Think you will be having some great fun in this shoebox !

Wow Chris. Cant wait to see it in person. I do like the fact that you copied my drivers side interior door handle. Makes me feel like my cars a little less crappy. :)

Beautiful car Chris. After reading this thread I can just imagine how your '36 Ford is going to turn out. Are you going to use the same custom door handles?

Outstanding job on this car and the interior. My neighbor has an industrial sewing machine hes offered for me to use but I can not fathom how to measure cut and sew. I have to learn one of these days. Great job on everything!

    Chris,

This car is really looking great! You are a VERY tallented guy and that chop is the best I've seen on a shoe box.

    Really.

  29. Jeez Chris...really nice execution, and hats off to you for the upholstery. That's one thing I've never even considered attacking myself.

    Good stuff
