Anyone have a picture of a 223 straight 6 oil pan? The one on my 57 f100 has something weird about it, lol. It has an inch and an eighth size oil drain plug on it and it appears to be welded? Was the plug in the center of the pan or off to one side? Anybody that can help me with info is much appreciated! Thanks

  2. As far as I know they were on the bottom. That's where mine is at.

Is it the difference between a truck pan and a car pan?

I've got a couple of each too... and I've got short dipsticks (with no tube)... long dipsticks... medium dipsticks.. all sorts of water necks, different sized water pumps, it goes on and on.. all from trucks though.

  12. If your water pumps are different, then one is from a 262 motor. The HD version of the 223....they look the same but are way different

Thanks for the help guys, I was beginning to wonder if someone just slapped some random pan on because before I asked on here, people had me thoroughly convinced that they were all off to the side and like a 7/8" plug, lmao!
