A seriously fortunate find, the fiance, the RJ cache is a bonus. Consider that probably someone's girlfriend/wife/Mom set the box at the curb or gave it away when she was "cleaning up your mess!" jus sayin'

I got $1300 for a full mint set of them about 4 years ago......I think I had up to issue #30 around that time.........fellow that bought them was Craig Smith who, unfortunately was killed in that double news helicopter midair crash over Arizona........really nice fellow to deal with, too......sad.....

Also got $450 for a full set of original HOP UP magazines all the way through when it became Motor Life around 1954......

Four years ago I financed my divorce by selling issues 1-30 on ebay. I miss the magazines but it was worth it to get rid of the bad marriage.

What a score, unbelievable. Now what should I do with the extra copy of N0.1 that I got for nothing from a buddy? I saw one sell on Ebay this month for $250 plus. Mine has a little damage in one corner of the cover but the rest is mint.

If anyone is interested I AM SELLING a full set 1-50 that I will be parting with as we need money for a new addition to the house.

I am located in Calgary Canada so factor shipping to your location. I will charge whatever USPS charges me. If you want fedex or something then you pay what I pay.

Message me if interested as I will be putting on Ebay in a week.

    Cheers.
