    I love sectioned cars! Am planning on wedge sectioning my 54 when I get back on it. Looks great. Can't wait to see it put all back together.

    that looks great
    ive been wanting to section my 53 ever since i got it. maybe some day i will get to and if i get to this thread will definately be used as a how to. maybe some day i will stop putting it off.
    very cool thread.

    I use the sand blast method on laminated glass.

    I use sandblasting resist from suppliers for folks who make gravestones, rather than any type of tape and/or paper. Resist is designed specifically for this purpose. Well, with stone, instead of glass, anyway.

    no updates snow in feb just made shop roof fall in had to put 54 outside for now
     
  15. Can you post some better pictures of the trunk area. I am looking at your for a Ref for my 53 4-door I have figured out most of it untill i get to the back of the car mainly the trunk section.

    Has anyone tried this with a '53/'54 Chevy: Sectioning the rest of the body about 3" but leaving the rear fenders stock height to give it more of a tailfinned look, and maybe cut down the doors a little to give it some of the lines of a '53 Skylark (without the Skylark's heaviness)?
