I wonder how much mud you're going to sling on that pretty new top!! :D :D

I love watching it go together, but I can't wait to see you driving it. Keep it up Dan!

Hello Hasty, This is a pic of my T. The only reason I am posting it here on Dans thread is because you asked (Not trying to hijack ya Dan):) and because Brother Dan spent so much of his precious time helping me with her. Been on the road for 3 years and thanks to Dan and Dad's help she has been a great car :D
No where near as nice as dans but I like her.

I have been watching Dan's wiring going together and it looks fantastic. Every bit as nice as the rest of the car.
    Don :)

Mike, no problem. I am off tomorrow, so I will be at the shop. I can take some good close ups. Maybe I can do a little YouTube action too if it'll help

Man Scott, a night out & about with the rpu will be so nice! I hope she puts out though:p

My "to-do" list is getting shorter! It is just starting to settle in, but it really does feel good

Chad, I like Rob! Little Dead Girl is strangely hot too:D:D

I would like to believe that is her @ the beginning of "More human than human"
    :D:D:D

Gary, I will man. It is always a nice feeling @ this point of a project to be getting close. There's still a lot of little things left, but it's ok. Thanks Gary

Dave, thanks man. I see light at the end of the tunnel, literally:p.
It sounds like you're getting some drive time in lately. Man, that has to feel good, huh?

Man I won't complain:D I was amazed the other day at the shop when I wiped the car down. The top became 3 shades lighter from wiping the dust off. Thanks!

Haha I did! It was nice to hear it "click":p Wow I am a loser haha. I am REALLY excited to fire it up for real this time, without all the temporary stuff.

My time is not all that precious really, I work cheap:eek:. Don't kid yourself, your car is beautiful. Plus, my car is all I have haha

Gregg, you sound as if I have missed a deadline or 10................:p

Billetproof is the goal my friend! Me & pops have really made some progress in the last week. Got the car wired up, got the fuel tank, fuel pump & regulator plumbed. Then.....got it running!

All is well, running great! All gauges working, just gotta wire up the electric speedo.

Idle is sounding nasty, wingnutz, I'm ready to line em up, you gotta get your roadster back:D:D

Here's where I am @ tonight. I am excited, just gotta keep moving. Thanks for looking guys, you always keep me inspired

    Dan

  14. Beautiful! Seeing all of your creativity and attention to detail will help me to stay humble about my skill level. Have fun!

Hell yes...! Sounds as hairy as the Roadster... What's the cam specs?

I'm sure BCR will run the old "Rocket Sled" against you!

I'll be busy putting the next one together as soon as I stabilize the income to the out going... and I'm trying to slow it down a bit so I'd be willing
to give you the performance edge if you trade me that old tired ass tri-carb set up for a real mans dual quad!! ;)

It's getting there Steve, thanks man! I am strangely distracted by the bouncing:D Hoping to see you & Sue again soon!

    Keith, I am already a picture whore:p
Thankfully the wiring stayed pretty hidden on the car-the braided sleeving kinda camouflaged it. I'll be glad to snap some pics though-thanks Keith

Thanks great Dave, really glad to hear you getting some seat time. It is cool how it can make the simplest trip a fun experience. But bad if you need to get somewhere quick-always 1000 people asking questions like " is that a kit???" People kill me, I swear. Sometimes it's easier to say yes than try to explain

Scott, thanks bud! I am about as excited as you must be firing your car-it really feels good. Your car REALLY sounds great!

Still have so things to wrap up to drive it though. Gotta get my Buick front drums machined to clear the Lincoln backing plates. Gotta hook up the flex hoses to each wheel cylinder & bleed brakes. Paint the grille & headlights. Get the steering box & column installed, blah blah blah.

But I'm closer now than I was 3 years ago:p:p

Thank you racer, I appreciate. We are all doing the same thing, just trying to do the best we can. The learning curve never stops-thanks again

Haha, the olds definitely have a great sound. I watched your YouTube videos many times for inspiration. I forget the cam specs now, it's only been 2 1/2 years now:p I asked for one that idles nice and mellow though, dammit

Thank you Paul! It does feel really great to get close. How is your Ford coming along??

I only had 4 good plug wires:D:D I am working on painting the grille soon haha

Hey Glenn! We are REALLY trying hard for that. That for me would really be a thrill, I hope I can bring it. I will definitely see you there. I gotta bring it or Gregg will never let me live it down:)

I got to see Dan's handy work tonight on the wiring and let me tell you, amazing work. This car is coming along nicely and Dans attention to detail is second to none. Awesome job Dan. Don :)

    HAHA...you're a whore alright, Dan..keep'm coming!

Do you have any of the business end of the wiring and components under the dash or where ever you hid them?

  22. Hi Dan. While I still would love to see pics of the wiring, I took delivery of some of that covering last night. I ordered it last week after seeing your post on it and the stuff is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the heads up!

    Mike

Thanks buddy! Not sure how I missed that...

  27. Not hard to miss when a post gets over 200 pages... Dan should modify his first post with a table of contents and a list of chapters... no maybe not... that'll delay him actually getting the Hot Rod on the road another two years...!:D

I second that! I'd have to hide my coupe under a cover parked next to that truck! Looks unbelievable!

    Hello All,
Dan is busy trying to work 60 hours a week to finance his RPU and then working on it 14 hours during his "off" days (not enough of those). I am sure a computer is not part of his ritual right now. (I guess that means internet porn is out too):p:):) KIDDING!

He had his front brakes completely installed last time I saw her and the steering was so close to actually turning a wheel minus a few steering rods so he is close!
    Don :D
