 Looking for any info on this Calif Drag Car. Google search shows nothing for the shop and no the phone number doesn't work. Calif issued VIN tag. Out of the Registry database so no help there. Sold between so many people with hopes to finish it and never happened that there's no paper trail. I hope to be the one to finish and not another "I planned to do something with it someday" guy. Might have been streetable in the 70's because the only thing not drag oriented is diamond tufted door panels. Somebody must know car or shop. Help!!

I'm guessing it is an Austin or something else from GB, right?

If it is a real delivery I believe it's a Commer Cob. If it was a wagon that's had the windows blocked it's a Hillman Husky. Titled as a 1958 Hillman Husky

I think it's Hillman. I did not get linked photo in here, but put 'hillman husky 1958' on google.

If its a Hilman, there was a Hilman that was stored in the Inglewood (right next to Lennox) area called "The Hellion". The owner, Marv, stored the car in his shop but the shop burned down years ago. I don't know what happened to the car after that but it had a 460 Ford and a C-6. The Hellion was a wagon but I suppose a new owner could have paneled the side glass. The Hellion was more of a show car but it did run at the track on occasion. The original paint was a dark blue with light blue pin striping.

    It's a Hillman Husky. Thanks a series 1 , made from 1957-1960.
Many were made into drag cars on the 60's
because they were cheap and liteweight (about 1800 lbs).
    I've got two of them...1960 and a 1959.
