Shawn was an oustanding friend and always quick to offer help when you needed it. He was also a man of strong faith who constantly volunteered in his church. I will miss him dearly. God Speed Brother.

My condolences for his family and friends....God speed.

  17. I am shocked. I had dealt with Shawn a few times over the last few years. I had no idea he was having problems but I knew I hadn't heard from or about him lately.

So young, too young to have had this problem. My prayers are with his family.

I didn't know Shawn, but he is a year younger than me. Too young, can't imagine what his family are going through. My thoughts are with them and his friends.

This is so very right. First, my condolences to all his friends and family-he looks like a really fun guy. And way too young to die.

Cancer doesn't play fair. But, colon cancer is one of the more treatable and survivable cancer types, IF detected early. Colonoscopies aren't great fun-I just had my fourth since my mom had colon cancer-though I was in/ out and having breakfast at Perkins in under 3 hours-but it is a great way to help yourself.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Please honor this young HAMBer's memory by getting yourself checked out. You owe it to your family.

    RIP Shawn

Shawn was a great guy. It's sad to see him leave this world at such an early age. I was a neighbor of his, and he was always patient enough to answer all my rookie questions about cars. He was always there to help me out whenever I needed it. He will be missed.
