Trenton, Trenton, Trenton! Bring it on - especially if you have shots from late 60s thru early 70s Cup races. In particular, I've been trying with limited success to find shots of the King racing his Superbird to a win in the 1970 Schaefer 300 at Trenton.

Guys............I didn't have as much as a photo from the track..........I searched out photographers who took pics there and some folks I know then in 1984 I put this book and stories together after years of research.

If you notice I"m going alphabetically on these driver profiles and we just finished the G's so I there are plenty more in the work to post.......

Ed Howe is next and that one will take some time to post.......

BTW........I have another book of late model photos from 74 through 84 that I can post here after the Heidelberg book is done......

This stuff has been sitting around for decades with nobody to look at it so I"m glad I can share with a great board like this one.........

 

Car 0 on fire at Winchester is not Roumell. He didn't run ASA there until the early 80's. Lonny Breedlove's car.

 

Yes the 1981 ASA DriPower is that race...........I remember Stock Car racing had a cover shot of the race with the title "A day of Tragedy" headline on the cover........

Inside the article had a shot of that crash you are talking about and a photo of the remains of Pat's car being towed away.......

I never said it was Roumell just that he did run some ASA races back in the 80's. I can tell from the car it is not his like ARCA GUY said.
