47-53 chevy truck owners!

    ...can someone do me a solid and go measure the width of your stock 47-53 chevy truck grill, horizontal wise, fas as I know they're all the same I've been 10 pages deep on google and can't find good specs.

    If someone had complete specs even better...

    I'm getting about 46", best I can tell in the dark.

    Am coming up with about 47" here in the dark, with the '50 grille sitting on my front deck... :)

    I just had my grill fully chromed and I just finished bolting it together so I measured it and the top bar is about 47 inches and the bottom bar is about 49 inches because the vertical end brackets taper from the bottom to the top.

    Take off about 1" for the inside frame.

    Beware. The grill bars for the larger AD trucks are slightly larger than those for the smaller trucks. If you are having trouble fitting bars, that might be your problem. Be sure everything fits right before you have anything chromed.
