Another ID this rearend...TAG

  1. I've found a Ford 9'' that is out of a truck,(year unknown),has the 5x5 1/2 bolt pattern I need,and is 1/4 inch shy(drum to drum-outer) of a perfect match for a stock merc. It is complete and I can get it for $75. I couldn't snap a pic cause of junk around it,but it has the tag,which reads...

    wdm-s 9kc
    3:25 9 3138

    The pinion is off-set 4''.


    The gear ratio I understand,but a year model would be helpful.

    The off-set is the big factor here.

    The offset pinion will require some tunnel fabbing, the Merc tunnel is too narrow for it to work stock.
