Bummer, but I can't believe it's been a year since CASEY made his last pass................................ we miss 'ya Buddy, see you at the THAW!

 

Wow, time really is flying. Damn.

 

I'm not sure how it's possible to miss someone I never physically met. But I certainly miss Casey... and Andy. RIP.

 

Miss you Collin and your little boy smile!

 

Can't believe it has been a year

I miss the burnouts he used to do....everywhere! And of course his constant defense of Flatheads!

 

A year already, wow. RIP bud

 

I liked Casey a lot, we were both in agreement on the beautiful music a well tuned flatty makes. RIP buddy.

This may be inappropriate.....But does someone/close friend have his car? are they going to get it back on the road? I think he would want that thing getting driven.....

The "Casey Coupe" is in a good place, just as it was the day he passed. The estate has not been settled, and it is our hope that the car will indeed return to Temple, Denton and all the other dragstrips that Casey tried to turn into ovals!

Casey had that affect, once you met him, he was/IS part of you! Nobody will replace the "Donut King"... God Bless You Casey, we miss you!!!!!!

 

I think a couple of us are going to gather out back of the konential club durning round up and raise a beer in his honor. At least that is where Richard here on the HAMB and I and few other's met him.

 

I aint waitin! I'm gonna raise a cold beer in his honor tonight!!!!

 

I only met him once but he left an impression on me to this day. He was all out flatty and I can think of no better tribute than what the hambers have done in his honor. RIP

 

i didnt hear about this at all, i was only checking in here every now and then for awhile.

I can't remember what the heck year it was, but maybe only the 2nd or so time I had met him, we were all leaving the Temple track to go back to the "nice" Hotel, when casey pulled up beside me and yelled out the window "Last one to the Hotel buys the beer!", and slings grave in my face! Well, I'm up for a challenge, so I run to the Coupester and jump in figuring, what the hell, he's just pushing a flathead............... I grab the keys......whoa, wtf? reach in my pocket for the keys.........WTF? Look in the floorboard for the...... WHATHEFUCKHAPPENEDTOMY...and I hear VRROOOM VRRROOOM and look up to see Casey flipping me off and throwing my keys out the window up by the guard shack! I just stopped and bought beer............... what a prick! I sure miss him

Casey left alot of great memories and left alot of friend behind. Great guy. Your still missed casey.
