    Looks good Kevin!

I saw you picking up the Cab today. Looks like it'll be nicer than it was 70 years ago when it's done.

  6. I'm glad you're doing it right. I don't like the rusty/ratty/patina fad.

Just hammering out the multitude of dents and getting it as close as I can before filler and primer.

Its not as bad as it looks in that one photo where its tipped forward,
the shadow's make it look worse than it actually is.
Most importantly no rust, except for the header which Is in process.

Ya, that roof was caved in when I got it. Have you been working on it at all?

Wow. That thing sits RIGHT. It's gonna look killer with straight sheetmetal.

What front suspension did you end up with?

I just started working on it again. I hunted down the valve train noise.

I had a good used cam and lifters so I replaced the old one.
I measured all the bearing clearances, and cleaned everything up.
Flex-honed the cylinders, faced the valves and lapped them in.
I went through the oil pump as well.

It is by no means a rebuild, but I have confidence that everything is close and will run.
