Damn that looks so damn good!!! That road draft tube is making me jealous! I had mine chromed and then tried to install it and it's hitting the firewall.....damn.

  3. Thanks guys!! I got a little more done this weekend. The e- brake is working ( kind of) and I finally settled on my fuel distribution method. I had a fuel block mounted but I just wasn't feeling it , so I cut and flared some more tubing. I think it looks pretty good?

Looking great man! I'm stoked on this one.

  7. You guys are awesome! Thanks so much.

Here are some more pics from this weekend. I painted the floor structure and rear pans. I also coated the "A" and "B" pillars.

Not quite the most exciting thing, but necessary nonetheless.

Oh, and a pic of the exhaust tips. They are stainless and I put BBQ black in the rest if the pipes and collectors.

  17. Sorry Terry, I was afraid I was boring everyone with my frequent updates, ha! I'll measure the steering arm tonight and get back to you.

  18. Hey Mike,

I’ve been watchin’ but not jawin’

You’ve made excellent progress...you are the MAN!

If you get your truck street worthy before I get my TR fully sorted I’m going to be pissed...just kidding.

I sure hope we can go on a tandem cruise before too long.

    Cheers

Man you look like you have your weekend planned. I was looking at your steering arm and thats what I did to mine I have seen alot of bent arms that are kind of scary mine is 2.5 dom tube 250 wall and we heliarced my arm on and I turned My arm with bevel and back welded it to. I think it will hold and I never get enough of a cool truck !! We are going to decatur swap meet tomorrow I hope to find some chevy stuff an a wirring harness and some stewart warner gauges .Keep up the good work !!

  23. Thanks Terry. Yup, the steering arm seems pretty strong ( I'm hopeful anyway!) Good luck at the swap! I hope you find what you're looking for.
