I have been building hot rods and race cars since 1958. My first car was a Model A with an Olds engine, then a 39 Ford Deluxe coupe with a flathead later a 56 Buick engine was installed. Later out came the Buick and a 327 Chev went in. I sold that car and built a Willys with a Chev and later put the destroked 426 Hemi engine out of a friends car in. Jack Convy and I raced that car and later bought the Ramchargers 67 Dart funny car added another partner, Jeff Solliday, and raced the UDRA funny car circuit. Next we built the "Plastic Fantastic" Maverick funny and after that I raced the "Danny Miller" Maverick and later a Dodge Challenger funny car. I quit racing and started building Street rods in 1976. I built and still own a 28 Hiboy Roadster on 32 frame with a blown and Hilborn injected 350 that is street driven. I am building a 64 Falcon that is in an unfinished state but is very close to a driver. I also race a 70 Maverick Nostalgia fuel funny car. I have built chassis and Stainless exhaust for a bunch of other cars for friends and customers. I am in the 9" Ford rear end business and build bolt-in housings for most GM, Ford and Mopar cars as well as custom housings for racing and street rods. Thanks for allowing me to join your site. Danny, did you ever race a guy with a brown dodge dart... name was John Lang, called his team "the lang gang"... great lakes dragaway in union grove wisconsin was his "home track" but he got around back then pretty good. Welcome to the board, glad to have you!
