  3. This was my first treck to the "cow barn". Two of us made the 7 hour trip up from Maryland. We didn't know anyone, but Ken made us feel like old friends. Although I'm somewhat of a social misfit, and not one to strike up a conversation, I did manage to mill around and chat with a few people. I finally got to meet Jeff Norwell and bend his ear for a bit. Also talked to John, the shop "water boy" I think he called himself. Talked to Nick (chopnweld) and said howdy to Chuck Vrannas, whom I usually see in Ocean City Md. every may. A good time was had by us Marylanders and the weekend was a full one. I want to especially thank Ken Schmidt, because even with a barn full of people (some of which were high falootin' celebrity types), he always made us feel welcome. Here are some pictures I took............

    The bus contingent.............

One hard core hot rodder drove his 40 tudor in the less than desirable weather!

Jim fires up the flatty for the early arrivals......

Norwell hanging around the "be a boner" banner!

Chuck shooting a picture. Sorry about the blur, I didn't want to use a flash for fear of screwing up Chuck's shot......

Another behind the photagrapher shot. Here Chuck shoots the "California Mafia"

The barn was really hopping later on......

A couple of those "west coast guys" trying on the coupe for size..........

    More shots from Friday night..........

I do believe they have a very cool Reliability Run in the fall... never been but it looked real fun.

My first "miss" in many years. I've been stuck in Arizona with my roadster.....however, I sure wish I was able to make it for the party. I'm NOT going to miss it next year!
