Ive spent the last 9 months in Washington learning the ins and outs at Dan Pascos shop In maple valley...I'm almost ready to head home and Hit the job market In Cali...

My "project" over the last few months has been replicating the rear half of a 36 Roadster body from scratch and now that I have a few of the panels welded And a general mock up all claped together on the existing body I figured it was alright to share...

I got alot of welding done today But I havn't got a working camera so I'll have to wait until they are posted on metalmeet by Dan to re-post that here...I'm going to try and get the quarters tackek up to the top peices with the rest of the week...hoping to have something standing on its own in the near future...

Thought you might like to see my ever growing collection of slaps that Ive been making to planish out all thease pannels....

Here are a few more pictures of his progress. These panels are mostly done using slaps that Jordan made here, dollies again some Jordan made the deep throat shrinker , ewheel, my power Shapster stump, shot bag, power bead roller & my forming station, he has come along ways for not knowing how to form any thing or weld.

If any on in the LA area need's a good young apprentice to work that is relay starting to grow his skill's then give him a shout. He will be taking home all the hand formed pieces he has made while here including the rear 36 roadster body section he will have built for his resume & portfolio along with hundreds of pictures on Cd's.

Cool stuff. Rare combination when you find a craftsman that can teach and a youngin' that can learn........or at least wants to learn ........ and bust a sweat doing it.

Excellent progress on the '36. Wish I'd had the opportunity to get involved in metal shapeing at that age. Keep at it and you'll have a bright future if you continue to persue this skill.

Jordan has been working on the upper rear lip area it is a tough shape to form, multiple bends & contours. He is hoping to have this part finished tomorrow then start welding a lot of the pieces sitting around on to the already welded section to give a more complete look.

Jordan was not quite happy with a few things so he did a little more hammer & dollie work plus more tacking.
