The guy changed his avatar to something cooler and better suited to this forum (in my opinion) sense he originally posted in this thread. As for your comment, sorry but it makes no sense, You are accusing me of being a perv for having a drawing of a 55 chevy??? and you have a naked lady in someones eye????????????
Dang! are these old cars, the raw materials, getting so scarce and expensive that some one would want to put out the effort, gasoline, time to haul something like that home?..
I love seeing the old trucks being used to fetch the old cars....
I totally agree old trucks rescuing old cars is kool Dang! are these old cars, the raw materials, getting so scarce and expensive that some one would want to put out the effort, gasoline, time to haul something like that home?.. I think these are the next MODEL A's. Soon people will be piecing them together, shoot some are already check out the gasser build 55 on here.
Heres that perfect stance you were talkin about. This one has a dropped beam and parallel leafs like you're using on your post car. Couldn't send this in a PM dammit. Kevin
So if it was stolen, then Jakedmoe "claimed" it is it double stolen or do they cancel each other out. I'd see who owns the land before stripping it, might keep you from getting shot at.
Cool story of how you found the car when you were a kid, glad to see you saved it, Keep the updates coming. Here are couple of pics of a good friend of mine's 55 hardtop
im a gasser fan at heart, but thats the same as a convert and they make all new sheetmetal to turn it into a convert just my 2cents
What ever happened to this car?? We need some kind of an update jakedmoe, don't just leave us hanging man! Even just the closure of knowing it was eventually parted out to save others. More up to date pics would be even better. The guys that say that car is just junk should look for a project car in the rust belt. You southerners don't know what rust really is.
good to hear you got it, i'd kill for one in that shape up here in the rust belt. they don't make them anymore.....it's worth saving.
Missed this first ime around. I vote for putting it back on the road with the body as it is - or as close to it to be safe, hammer on it some but leave the paint and bullet holes . 2 seats, basic wiring to run lights and a tach. small block, 4 spd. No gasser. Do the frame nice and pretty, you can pull the body back off to fix it in a few years.
