It takes one SICK! S.O.B. to start a thread like this and I love it. Keep it up Brother. B.C.H.C FOR LIFE!
This is a Mocked Up engine. The block is a 4 cylinder 224 ci/in Mercruiser boat engine. I have just set a 460 Ford aluminum head on it with the Mercruiser QuadraJet 4 barrel carb and manifold. The exhaust manifold is a Ford side dump from a bus engine. The heavy Delco starter has been replaced with a light weight HiTorque IMI starter. The engine still has the front Mercruiser motor mount and the rear Mercruiser bellhousing/Motor mount. They will be replaced with side motor mounts and the T5 transmission mount. This engine should produce 200+ hp and will be installed in my 1600/1700 lb Model A Ford based Dawford Special. Similar engines will be installed in other Model A projects in the works. Ignore the 6 cylinder distributor cap it is only on there to protect the innards. Dick .
Ok, Now how many of you sit in the mock up and act like your driving and making motor noises? Because I'm guiltly of this.
