Why a Walker radiator for $899 when I can buy a 3 core Aluminum for $299. Is there that much difference on a car the will drive less the 2000 miles per year? It is for my 1932 5 window Olds?

Any help would be apreciated. I know when a car for sale has a Walker radiator the owner always lists that fact.

    Thanks

  3. Has the aluminum radiator company been in business as long as walker. Do they offer as good of a warranty as walker ?? I think this is only something that you can decide. It is you money. I've installed 7 or 8 of walkers and have not had an issue yet. Thats just why thoughts.

The $299 radiator is probably made by prison labor in China.

Wingman is right. A throw away $299 aluminum radiator is made by child labor in China or Cambodia. How long to you think it will last. Walker radiators are expensive but they are an exact fit. I had one that was still going in a car that was built for over 15 years and still going strong when I sold it. I learned a long time ago, when it comes to steering, cooling and brakes you buy the best. You won't be sorry in the long run.

Walkers are nice but too pricey for my "35" Olds, I had my Dad's friend make me a custom one for $150.00. Keeps my 324 Rocket running cool. If the aluminum is made by a somewhat reputable maker it should be OK.
