When Henry's guys designed the 32 Ford, it is obvious that they recalled as many 28-31s as they could and installed the beautiful new grill. That's why you see so few stockers around....I suppose.

It is nice to see them with the "right" grill on 'em. It makes the front end and the hood lines look right.

mines got a 28 copper grill

 

Actually, Model A's don't have a "grill". They have a radiator shell, and radiator. The '32 was the first Ford with a grill.

I'm with Don. I like 'em chromed too.

 

Although I have a '32 (with a '32 grill) I prefer the model A shell on model A's, especially the '28 & '29. Very distinctive.

Never liked the 32 grill, or seeing frame rails either I guess.

 

Personally I dig a 32 shell on a 30-31 A and a 28-29 shell on a 28-29 A. 2 of my 30-31's have 32 shells and the third will likely be getting one as well.
