My Dad passed away on Christmas morning. What a best friend and Dad he was. Very Special. He was an old hot rodder back in the day. Had a 57 Chevy that he would take down to Tulsa to drag now and then and he won too. He was a heck of a mechanic and was up until he died. He had to quit though when we kids came along but he never got over it . We live on a 160 acre Ranch and share the same mail box. My Mom told me that whenever I got a Hot Rod Magazine in the mail he would tell her I'm going to borrow this for a while and would read it then put it back in the mailbox when done. I always wondered why they were always late.

RIP Dad. Love you so much. Cherish your loved ones and friends. You just never know when they might go.

Aww you guys are all so great. I'm really having a tough time dealing with this...

  22. I`m sorry about your dad.
I just lost my dad last year. He was a car lover too. like me.
we used to talk about cars all the time.
now when I see an old car, I can`t call him and talk to him.
But I will never forget him. Lets remember them when we see an old hot rod.

But don't worry, I will honor him, I'm going to restore his 72Chevy 4 X4 farm truck. To the max!

My heart goes out to you and your family. I know your loss and understand it as I lost my Mom Christmas morning 1985. Your Dad sounds like he was the kinda guy all of us would be proud to call "Dad".
