Anything Car Related Going on in the Clearwater/Tampa areas the weekend of Jan 14th

I'll be flying into Tampa for work on Wed Jan 12th and staying at a hotel in Clearwater during the week. Everyone else leaves for home on Friday afternoon but I thought I'd stick around and see if I can get into some car related trouble during the long weekend as I don't fly home till Monday evening.

So, please fill me in on any car related activities, ie, cruz nights, car shows, area shops, garages, museums, etc., that I shouldn't miss. I'll have a car so distance won't be an issue. I already know abou the cruz nights in Old Town and would use that as a last resort if I didn't find anything else to do.

Cruise night at Quaker Steak and Lube Thursday down here... BIKE night Wednesday (usually about 3000, winter...?), Cruise night up in Spring Hill Thursday night

 

Thanks for the info bud. The cruz at Quaker Steak sounds good but I know I won't have any free time till Friday at approx noon, then I've got the rest of the long weekend available.

Thanks for the offer bud but I will probably do Bush Gardens or some other activty that morning/early afternoon and will just drive straight to Glenn's. I've also been invite to tour Vic Piano's place so I need to coordinate a few things therefore I need my car and the freedom to arrive from another location other than Tampa proper. Looking forward to seeing both you and your Ford there.

Wow, I've talked to Glenn and have gotten a few hints on the Saturday happenings. I'm really stoked to see all my Florida pals again. Once Glenn finalizes things he'll announce.

Sounds like your dance card is filled. I spent my life in Clearwater, Fl. and if you get a chance, have one of the guys take you down the beach to the original Crabby Bills in Indian Rocks for seafood.

 

Your MORE than welcome to stop bye and see us at the shop! Looks like Mike is already takin care of things here and he knows how to get you to our shop...ill make sure we get coordinated to have some fun with the poorboys too. Quaker would be fun if you can get that Thurs. evening away..but Biffs would be good too.

I'm flying in and out of Tampa Int but staying right near the StPetes/Clearwater Int one. Not sure what your schedule is but are you available for the nickle tour of your garage on that Monday morning?? If you're working what about that Friday early afternoon?? I'm really anxious to see your toys.

I've got a must attend awards dinner Thursday evening.

Looks like we might head there Sunday evening after Busch Gardens. Sounds yummy!

We'll see how things fall out over here on the east coast, but I hope to make it over Saturday. I knew I should have put that swapmeet heater in the roadster this past fall. Maybe there's still time.
