the Fisher 36 rules. looks a lot like Jack Calori's 36 finished in '48...
now the question is...do you need spotlights to qualify for the style J.B is looking for or not?

It ain't easy to find cars that have all the details right, but 38zephy's 36 fits here even though it doesn't have spotlights..

Fantastic car Sondre... but it does not count. Its an old custom that was recently restored.

The boss (J.B.) only wants to see cars built in the last 15 years or so that look like they could have been built in 48-52.

    Absolutely great!!
This is with no doubt my favourite style on Customs (but I'm afraid mine does not fit here :(... 54' grille, etc.)

    keep posting!

    Ha ha..." the boss" :p
Well, the thing is that it would be very nice to see recent builds. Otherwise we will end up with a thread about old kustoms and we already have some great ones of those. Rik and other members have done some fab threads about this.

Could be 20 years back too. But not much longer. To see the newly built kustoms influenced by this distinctive style and also all the great efforts and historical knowledge that the builder needs, to achieve the goal.

Time to talk about drip rails yet? :D

Drip rails are for cars that are DRIVEN in all kinds of weather, including rain & snow. Can't live without them in my little part of this planet.

Ultimate styling doesn't always go hand in hand with most practical... That is unfortunately very true :)

  26. I do not even want to mention drip rails in the same sentence as traditional 48-52 kustoms...
