Tried to keep it clean while saving the original looks of the 54...like keeping the vent tubes!!

Chevy 54 that looks real nice. I like how it still appears kinda factory but real cleaned up. just goes to show that you dont need a bunch of fancy stuff or 1500 hours of moulding and bondo work under the hood to make it look good

    keep em coming

    Mines still under construction.
It looks like I will need to mount the brake booster in the oval ( dash access ) at the top right of the firewall area, so the plan is to fill that oval in and mount it there, Im using a s-10 booster and Master cylinder.

Does anyone know of a small heater that will fit under the dash like the factory one but newer and easier to adapt. Im told the stock heater core is very exepensive to replace and mine it bad.

What are you using for power brakes and where/how did you mount it?
    thanks

Its a 6.0 caddy motor if you are wondering:)

Hey thanx man, that was what I was kinda shootin for, didnt really do much other then stripping an cleaning it for paint with a little smooth n fill for the factory wrinkles on the top of trans tunnel. The whole car was built with the original design in mind and only to change what needed to be! Thnx again

That is great. My buddy has been bugging me for years to put a Nailhead in my car....
I always thought it would look real good. How does it drive?

I think if I put a non chevy motor in It would be an old caddy mill dressed to the nines.

I'll try and get some of my mom's 50 hardtop. It has a stock looking 327 in it. For now, here's my '53 wagon (it's not done yet):

Car drives great. It was an intown delivery car for a parts store and it was retired by them in 65 and sat till I got it a couple of years ago. Front end is still tight. I'd say it drives as good as any 50 chevy with the stock suspension.

Il Gimmi the more I think about it I am really excited to be putting a 6 back in this thing. I just need a cool ass manifold to put up top now. Used to have an og fenton 2 carb but it is long gone. Maybee another one will come along.
