bump - for weekend TREE GETTING -with Hot RODDS

 

my old 57 and 65

 

Mine comes out of a box in the basement so I don't have to haul it, but it is traditional. My grandfather bought it at a yard sale in 1962 and it's my only inheritence from him:

 

Very cool - my parents had one when I was a kid in the 60ties
my wife also - she has the one that her parents had
she sets it up every year -will post a pic in a bit

 

You have the color wheel and everything!!!! My grandparents had one of these up till the late 80's. I was soooo in awe of it as a kid. I still am in awe of it.

 

Wifes parents (both passed away) tree from the 60t's - my wife set's it up evey year -old ornaments with color wheel

 

I just carry mine with me.....

I love the old aluminum trees. I have an old Pesco with a color wheel. They look so cool with multi-color glass bulbs and big round multi-color lights.

Was just about to start this but found this old thread.

 

Not a hot rod but still in the flavor.

 

Got ours yesterday. I took the picture in our driveway when we got home. My favorite things are in this picture. Lisa, Hannah, and the coupe. Spending time with all 3 at the same time ecstasy! With the 3 of us jammed in the coupe on days like this, I don't regret putting an auto in the car, instead of the T5.
