BUilding an old skool deuce roadster. I really like the DP40 silver green look but not sure if that's the color I want. Anyone ever convert DP 40 to a single stage PPG Concept color ?? Would rather NOT have a high gloss finish. can anyone help ? Thanks................ Postem' or prespropmain@aol Thanks Paul
Here is my roadster. I'm still working on it. I'm sure you are looking for something a little more shiney though. I hope it helps.
Thanks, I have been working on it for about a year now. I have all the build pics. It has really put a dent in the wallet. Model A's are much cheaper come to find out. One day I'll sit done and write the thread. I would like to be able to write a good one with personality. I don't want it to be just another 32 build thread. Thanks again for the compliments.
Tuff roadster looks sweet. That's the direction I want to go. Not a lot of shine. I think, Thanks.........
I tried to email you the pics but didn't have much luck so I am posting them in the thread. The car is still in pieces. But I think these are the ones closest to the paint itself. I hope these help. Good luck on your Car. Mike
The color on my roadster is a 2003 Nisson under hood satin. I had it converted to a single stage. It was a close match to a Dupont spector fleet color S136 if I remember right.
harleycontractor, Here is my olive drab roadster nicknamed "32 Spitfire". I seem to get a lot of compliments on the car and color. Hope this helps and Merry Christmas! 32 Spitfire http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=502413&highlight=32+spitfire
Here's mine, it's Jag BRG. I'm thinking of a wheel and tire change. I really like the wheel / tire combo in post 13
IT WILL BE DP 40 !!!! Thanks guys for the pics. I love this look . The doors and truck lid got put in DP 40 this week. Body will go into DP 40 next week or so. I'll post pics when it's painted.
