I really like the way the fenders are more pronounced after dropping the entire top/deck lid down between them. Didn't R&C feature a Fleetline chop awhile back done the same way?

    Very nice work!

    Awsome thread!

  13. Checkout EMS for patch panels. I went with these for my 52. The place I ordered them from is local to you in Acworth I believe.

  14. So.....this is gonna be a chopped donker? ;)

here is my grille in the mock up stage. Its a 50 buick grille. I cut the center section out of the chevy grille so the buick teeth would fit. I'm going to narrow the bumper a few inches on each side too.

lowered the front today...man that was a pain!!! I cut two coils out. I'm going to start on the back tomorrow. I'm also going in the morning to pick up some steel wheels from a fellow club member for it. My caddy hubcaps should be here soon too!! I'll post some more pics tomorrow too

Yea a chop is a must .You said the most durastic change is a chop but I think a SECTION is the most drastic change you can do to a custom. 16 cut off wheels, 12 sawzall blades ,a pile of grinding discs and many hours of welding are all it takes.Oh yea a lot of measure twice cut once. The end results are worth it.:)

Always loved those grills - looks like a land based filter feeder!

Tons of work but keep going.

    Later,

    Mike
