We went to Willow Springs yesterday and help the ol man run some of his car around the track and sling alittle mud... It's always amazing to see how high vintage race car drivers use to sit. In the case of a roll over what hit's the ground first Helmet or rollbar? Those guys had major balss to strap in a ride like that at put the pedal to the floor. Cool video and thanks for sharing.

Yea... Its a hilborn injected, dry sumped... all aluminum block.. aluminum head Magneto ignitioned Daimler... It is super loud and even faster!!!! This car was actually was illegal to race on CA tracks...
Nice footage. I am building up one of these at present and looking to fit a Hilborn style injection system to it. I understand these were made back in the sixties and all but unobtainable. Would love to see some stills of the engine bay. Aluminium block? Who made these? In standard form the Daimler V8's were cast iron block with aluminium heads.
