Several years ago a friend showed me a paint kit he bought from the states which went over chrome to tint it. Sort of like a translucent candy with a clear finish coat. It must have been a special kinda paint as I believe ordinary candy wouldn't stick to chrome that well. Does anyone know what this kit might have been and where I might get something like this? I want to tint some chrome smoothies gold, Internet search has not got me anywhere, but I reckon someone here will have the scoop.
transluscent powder coat would be the way to go for durability this was a burnt orange over a chrome powder on a valve cover and one of my chrome sockets for a color reference for later.
