Norwell's art makes me feel tingly all over... in the GOOD way.

 

"Hot rod inspired", because that is all I think about, and everyone has their cars put away for the winter up here. Hope you like it, and happy turkey day to all you HAMBers below the boarder.

For this week, a lettering/pinstripe piece on a hubcap for a good friend and fellow Hamb-er: Pascal.. Pascal did the flakes.
Our motto: "just make nice stuff, thats allways fun!!"

Here's my first attempt at gold leafing. It's verigated leaf on a lid I shot rootbeer kandy over a gold metallic base.

 

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Jerry Reed that helmet is Killer..

This monochrome watercolor was based on a black-n-white negative I found hidden in an old album my folks had. This could add credence to either the nature or nurture side of the argument.

This drawing was inspired by the racing in Elgin. (near Chicago) They celebrated the 100yr. anniversary this past August. The car is a 1914 Caddy.

great work everyone.

I havent posted anything in a long while, heres a sketch from a little while back. I have a couple things on the go that will be done in the next few weeks, I dont think Ive done any automotive related stuff in almost a year.

A heavily modified center door T
-heavy chop, reworked model a fenders (or one offs), heavy engine set back, either a hemi or small block chev with a crank driven blower and injection set-up, zoomies, slicks etc
Show and Go!

Great stuff guys. This is my first post here. New member but long time lurker. I keep a sketch book with me when I'm at school and this was a real quickie I drew up the other day for an idea for a tattoo.
