It's the little stuff like that that doesn't look like progress now that makes all the difference when its all said and done. I think most of us understand the limited project time as well.

The little stuff is the important stuff. It's all about Attention to details!!!
And I hear ya, I do paint and body for a living in a collision shop and am trying to start my custom shop on the side and I only get to work on my project on Sundays.

so here is what has been going on latley
I started roughing in the body work on the pass side

since im going to be making the wagon a 9 passanger i ran out of placeses to put the 8 gallon air tank for the air suspension, so the only place left was inside the right rear quarter panal , [IMG]
also i started changing up the moon gas pedal because of corse i cant leave aneything alone
    [IMG]
just the start to many mods to come on this pedal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. First off, subscribed. Second off, I've always said the wierder the better. Needless to say I'm loving this car. Third off, I love wagons. So I can only say I'm behind you all the way on this thing. Go for it! Can't wait to see it finished.

That's impressive, making those! That must be a VERY rust prone area on 59's as they were rusted to shit on every car I've ever seen that wasn't a show car. When we did my buddy's '59, we found a guy out in AZ that sold us a set.

And this longroof is looking SWEET. Really enjoying following your work! The two tone green paint scheme should be killer!

A few pages back there a shot of where I used some 57 chevy truck dash knobs as mock up push buttons , kinda the same idea as a lincoin push button deal but a lot smaller. Right now I have a guy actually making them for me since I don't have time and access a leath. I'll post pics when they come in and the mech of how they work .

Have you got a thread going for your '59 yet Rash? I'd like to see pics of your Elky. There are several of us working on 59/60 Chevy's right now.

Thanks again everyone on the complements. And curious rash I also havn't gotten that far as to fugaring the lockin mech yet , I guess I'll get to it when I get the buttons back from my machinist . I have 6 other car builds going on at once and it's hard at time to keep track of the cars and everything involved including mine at times. Lol
