the Henry is just about finished and it is STILL that lovely yellow hue.

GlassthamesDoug sold me a high winding 301 sbc a few years back and it is already in and running.

We are putting on some big 31 inch Phoenix slicks mounted on aluminum slots (who you calling a slot?) to fill those huge radiused wheel wells. Aluminum slot skinnies will go on front with NOS 6.00x15 bias ply tires.

We hope to have it ready to participate in Halloween Havoc at Great Lakes Dragaway on 10/29/11.

    BEEEEEE THEEEEERRRRRREEEEE!

we are on schedule. The car is prepped and loaded for tomorrow at Great Lakes Dragaway. Our expectations aren't real high, as we haven't even taken it for a blast down the road.

here is how it turned out:

yes, just a little small block Chevy. But not from PEE (Paperdog's Photoshop fun). Rather, GlassThamesDoug.

We got it down the track three times, but discovered we need new accellerator pumps in the carbs. Had to just roll into the gas and ease it off the line. Then it ran good.

Got it into the 14's and had terrible 60 foot times.

Carbs are going in for rebuild, etc.

I was amazed at the attention the car received. They like yellow!

Great story, we just picked this 53 up on the weekend, but will not start rebuild until the wagon is done and our enclosed trailer roof is rebuilt after collapsing under ice and snow.
