info on leather restoration and care

i`ve just received the leather that made up the seat and filled in all around the seat in the race car in my avatar.......it has been in storage for many years....and it is mighty stiff. can anyone supply me with places that might be able to offer advice on what should be done to restore it? ......or even perhaps names of people that work with leather......thanks in advance......jim

 

Try Schotts leather coats website, they have a forumn. I believe mink oil is the preferred method though, work it in let it sit over night, if it's all soaked in the next morning massage in more, keep this up untill you find it's no longer absorbing in.
