dunno...and I'm not real fond of the term groovy either...too many memories of friends and acquaintances sitting around in a chemical stupor....

at least it's different....hotrodding likes different...to an extent.

I think I would stick with some type of car grill and shell. IMHO.

Yea I would stick with the original grill. If you want a different grill shell put a '32 on it.

  7. To each their own. If you like it don`t matter .but if you care what others think you`ll be disappointed. It`s kinda( r-t r-d ) Pete.

Not bad for a tractor grille. But it's still a tractor grille.

Personally I think it could be made to look good if it was smoothed off and "un-ratted". I kinda like the shape, and it's a refreshing change from '32 Ford grills, (which I also like.)
A few years ago I started a thread on here about tractor grill shells and got my ass flamed.(try search).
Lots of folks here don't like them..."not traditional".
    Do what you like.

It might not look bad if you create a really nice looking insert to go in the shell and get away from the rusty barbecue mesh that is in it.

I thought about doing that 20 years ago but now it is so overdone and usually crudely done that it doesn't appeal any more.

Make it look like a race car nose rather than a misplaced tractor nose and you will have something.

I think it might work with a hood. I do understand using what you have but sometimes it just doesn't work.

    I don't think I've ever seen a T with a 32 shell before.

Not a fan of tractor grills...

However, I'm wondering about the layout of your set-up. You've got an A frame with a SBC and a T coupe body... those things are pretty commonly put together; I'm not getting why you chose to set it up so that your radiator has to be mounted so far forward?

  25. Makes me think of cosmic conversations. Oh Grooooovey maaaan.

I guess the tractor grill is OK. Some folks say they belong on tractors but it's really a matter of presentation I suppose. Or maybe its really a matter of perspective.
