Speedway Tri-power adapter

Hello all,

As I'm sure is true with alot of guys here I've been thinking and changing my mind of the style I want to finish my 55' Ford wagon in. I think I've settled on a nice clean cruiser. I'm leaning toward tri-power mostly for the look of it. I'm thinkin of getting the adapter from speedway motors to put 3X2's on a regular 4bbl. intake. Does anyone have experience with these or any opinions of this setup?

 

If you are doing it for the look,that,s the wrong way to do it in my opinion.A tri-power adapter won't look like a real tri-power.

 

afterthought = suck = still not cheap for halfassedness

 

You can buy a decent tri-power setup used for less than what they want for the fake one.

 

I was leaning the same way, just wanted more opinions.

 

Y block tripower is plentiful and relative cheap so why by crap when you can go first class with the real deal?

 

I kind of wondering what would the flow be like on a adpter like that? could it really flow that much?

If you want to just look at the car go with Speedway,if you want to drive it do it the right way.
