My first publication, and I get to share it with Luke Karosi, Jay T. Mason, Doug Reed and Rik Hoving. Killer company. Looking forward to January at the Customs Then & Now: A Historical Gathering to meet these guys in person. Thanks Ryan and all the HAMB members I have met. You are great. Thanks Luke. Slim

  5. Congrats on the publications. Rik Hoving and I are old friends. He hasn't been to the States in a few years. Say "hi" to him for me if you meet him.

hmmmmm. You sell your event coverage photos? Why didn't I think of that.:D

Just got mine...you did a GREAT job in it! And I'm so glad that Luke now has a good photog back east here, now that he deserted us! (just kidding Luke! You know we really miss you though!)The first thing that drew me to his mag was that he featured almost NO cars from the usual, repetitive, major magazines and fresh new East coast stuff!

Not yet Lyle, But that’s my goal. I am looking forward to meeting Rik at GNRS. His Kustoms history is a constant source of learning. Slim

A lot of guys like me look forward to the new Rodders Journal. The only thing that can
top it, is a new issue of Kustoms Illustrated. Very kool issue!

Congrats on the pics. The bad thing it just made me want to see more. Do you have
anymore pictures of the black Merc from the Lead East show? If so I'm still hungry to
    see more.

    Happy Trails, Mick

  12. I've never heard of this mag before, are they subscription only or are they distributed to any stores?

My '56 Ford is in the same issue. First feature for this car; I'm tickled!

Luke shot the pictures himself at Santa Maria this spring.

Deserved...I saw your car in SM in '09, really liked what you did to it (and I'm not a Ford guy)...

The major problem with K.I. is it's way tooo-ooo small (not in size, but in page content), I could look/read an issue about twice/three times that size and still want more...

Luke, when you going to go monthly...??? All you have to do is ask and I'll help...!!!
