Should, all the way from 332 up to the 428. They are all FE engines. Lets see?? 332, 352, 360/361, 390/391, 406, 410, 427 and finally 428.. I want to say the 361 and 391 are big truck engines?? pdq67
The 361 and 391 have more mounting bolts in the manifold. I believe there are 2 more holes on the industrial engines. I am very sure of this as my grain truck has a 391 that needed a manifold and I found out the dont interchange.
Yeah but what are you putting them in? Truck manifolds are different than car manifolds in my experience with a 390. Mad Dog headers makes a bitchen set of car or truck headers for like $350.00 CHUCK
They should fit as long as youre block dont have the hiriser heads on it. Best way to find out for sure is just do a mock up with it. Set it on youre motor and check it out.
I guess you need to be more specific on what you are trying to do. The cylinder heads and the intake manifolds are different on the H. D. Truck and car engines. The heat crossover on the car heads is in rectangular shape and has the same shape on the intake. The H.D. truck heads have a square shaped cross over. If you try to swap the truck manifold over to the car engine you will have a huge leak at the heat crossover. I hope this helps >>>>.
Yes they'll interchange. Where you have a problem is with the 427 engines. Some of them won't interchange between 427s even. Never the less your intakes will swap from 390 to 361 no problem.
Engine pro, can you find a pic of what your describing? The heat crossover? I have found that the truck motors have some small differences as well. Like my FE block has more internal webbing 3 webs instead of two, and the cylinder walls are thicker as well. I jus didnt noticea difference in the intakes when I was breaking it down for parts. Cheers and beers Hodge
As soon as I get back to my shop I'll have your picture !! I'm on the nooner !! They will not interchange !!! Oh fuck yeah they will bolt on but will never function properly !!! >>>>.
