I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. If its like anything else that is Hamb related it will be a great and memorable event! It's awesome that there are so many events through the year to be able to choose from. I hope to get down to texas in the future.

We should have a band update any day now. Wertheimer is handling it, so expect the lineup to be pretty damned good.

I don't know bout this.... Hand selected, period correct, and historic hot rods and customs of the early post war era? Cool art deco power plant on private grounds? Live music lined up by the Continental Club? Sounds like a really shady show to me... I better avoid it all together to be safe.

Excellent Ryan, THAT was my main concern! (other than it not being here in Nor-Cal.) The Revolution had a very unique vibe to it because of the cars..... it was about as pure of a hot rod show as one could imagine.

Once again you've managed to hog all of the good stuff for Texas. I guess when my father was stationed there (in San Antonio and Waco) when I was growing up I should have stayed so i could join the fun. He was NEVER understanding about me wanting to stay at a place where I had just made friends so it was always............"pack your bags son, we leave in the morning".:(

  16. It's quality over quantity. The selection of cars so far looks to compete as one of the best collections of hot rods in one spot of all time!

I don't know its history, but the picture of the chopped deuce three-window behind the backstop is sooooo right!

That picture is as honest and hardcore as you could ever get. Somehow, the lack of an iconic grille shell and insert makes it even better.

Man, I wanna be there! Wished I could bring the roadster too, the Pyle Special would fit in perfectly. Maybe I'll make the trek out and spend a few days w/o the roadster though. Who knows, I could hit the lottery and bring a few friends with me. OK, holding my breath only makes me dizzy. Viva La Revolution!!
