The stude is still actually owned by the same guy who built it. He redid it this past winter and lost the top because he said the blind spot was too dangerous. I would have to agree with the fact it looked better as a black coupe but hey he built it and can do with it as he sees fit.

Hotrodpodo, I think you have really good taste... you took photos of (what I think were) some of the best cars there!!

Thanks for taking the time to post them.

    Cool pics Dan! :D

I miss the ambiance of Grundy County Speedway too. We all do. What's more important though? The Ambiance or getting 15,000 people and 1500 show cars (not to mention spectator cars) in and out? We filled 30 acres of spectator parking. 30acres! I did appreciate the farmlike appearance, but I grew up on a farm too. Hell, a guy even drove an Oliver to the Cruise night on Thursday!

Thanks Chad! I'm sure everyone will get used to the new place, as will I. The heat probably did not help and I'm quite sure that you and the rest of the Czars will take some of the more constructive criticisms and make the neccesary adjustments. Thanks again for all of the hard work you guys do organizing the best show around.:D

Thanks for posting the pics,,, the surf green '57 chev is mine, cool to see others appreciate it. I really was impressed by the guys parking cars telling us to leave plenty of room between the cars 'cause we got alot of space. When's the last time ya heard that at a car show............Been to alot of Pileups and wouldn't miss it!
