Customs 60 Ranchero with a 62 Comet front end

Just taking a little break thought I would give an update.
It appears as though someone thought it would be a good idea to lap a patch panel and nail it to the car then use bondo to hide their sins.


I have fixed a good bit of the passenger side inner fenderwell as you can see.

 

So the patch is not welded in at all? keep up with progress I am just on a shopping spree for mine.... When I have all the parts I will start or add to a post.

 

Its brazed in and also "pinned" with fucking nails. All and all about an inch or so of bondo. I and doing the motor swap bit by bit right now I'm waiting to post till I have a before and after picture.
