hello all, anyone know where i can find another one of these for my 32 5w? it is for the windshield. i was told sacramento vintage ford, but i can not find it. also, the guy i got this one from labeled it with ford p/n B45439-A. any help would be appreciated. thanks
The number you were given is correct,,it is a windshield swing arm bracket. Probably your best bet is to post a photo of the bracket in the want ad's,,HRP
Don't be surprised if it doesn't become available in billet from some offshore manufacture soon. (just kidding)
2X on that. surely you must know someone that could help you if you can't? Not trying to be a nag, but it's kinda what this site is all about.
It's basically a bolt with the head cut off welded to a bent peice of steel. If you're having a hard time finding it....just make it.
I made my set out of a stainless carriage bolt, and stainless plate. Welded up nicely, and I was able to polish it!
If you happen to locate a source could you let me know. I dont even have one to copy from. Thanks Larry
A set of those were in a box of parts I got with my car..Good thing too cause sometime in its life someone cut the originals off! Why would someone cut them off in the first place? I have no idea who makes them eather???? They should'nt be that hard to fab up though. If I didnt have the ones I have now thats what I would do.
