1932 5 window part?

    hello all,
    anyone know where i can find another one of these for my 32 5w? it is for the windshield. i was told sacramento vintage ford, but i can not find it. also, the guy i got this one from labeled it with ford p/n B45439-A. any help would be appreciated. thanks

  4. The number you were given is correct,,it is a windshield swing arm bracket.

    Probably your best bet is to post a photo of the bracket in the want ad's,,HRP

    Is it at all like a Model A Ford part? If so get two, and sell the one you have.

  10. It's basically a bolt with the head cut off welded to a bent peice of steel. If you're having a hard time finding it....just make it.

    you guys are right. i will check the source jdj9410 recommended and then probably make it.

    I made mine recently, pretty simple and not worth the hassle of trying to find.

    I made my set out of a stainless carriage bolt, and stainless plate. Welded up nicely, and I was able to polish it!

    A set of those were in a box of parts I got with my car..Good thing too cause sometime in its life someone cut the originals off:confused:! Why would someone cut them off in the first place? I have no idea who makes them eather???? They should'nt be that hard to fab up though. If I didnt have the ones I have now thats what I would do.:)
