    The Thweatts Mopar blew up upon a neutral start at Lions Drag Strip.
    It was a real ugly scene that night. A woman spectator had major eye injuries and may have even been blinded over the course of her recovery....
    The old days of dropping it into gear from a high winding neutral position were over.....too bad it took so long.....

    Wasn't this car rolled, pushed back on to it's wheels, and put back into service? IIRC this is a shot of it's next run.

    Love the Thweet's image, mazooma, firesuit with no gloves! No problem if it catches fire, its just that someone else will have to unzip the suit since his hands will be litttle charred stubs!

    Thanks for posting!! Gabby Bleeker seemed to get more pictures of his car, but Boogie's was just as cool
