Had a bunch of 40s over the years and not had a problem fitting the rear of the hood untol this one.An article was in one of the magazines a while back that suggested shortening one of the arms.Any one ever do this,i need to go down a good 1/4 inch to be happy,the rest of the hood fits good.
Can you move the hinges lower where they bolt to the cowl? I am not familiar with the arm shortening technique.
I elongated the holes in the cowl,passenger side passed but drivers side needs a little mod on the rear bolt by moving it up about 3/16th to let the hinge go down further.Tomorrow is another day,got whipped today
