remove jethot coating???

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by slayer, Sep 9, 2010.

  1. Has anyone successfully removed jethot (metallic-ceramic) coating from headers without ruining them? I have some cracks in the header tubes that need to be welded, but the coating has to go first. Sand blasting doesnt seem to do the job, so Im open to ideas.

Have them stripped at a chrome or plating shop.
